Green Police

Audi ran a commercial during the Super Bowl last night featuring the "Green Police". I thought it was a little over-the-top (like most Super Bowl ads) but I loved it non the less. I have a special place in my heart for Audis and I'm definitely a fan of the new 2010 Audi A3 TDI. At 42 mpg on the highway with reduced CO2 emissions and great low-end torque performance, no wonder it won Green Car of the year. What do you guys think?

  1. I understand you want to be all "green" and stuff, but if I was going to buy and Audi, I would get the A8, or the R8. The A3 is just too tiny, and the tech hasn't come along far enough for me to trust the "green". Also, if you want to save money, but get a wonderful car, the A4 is bigger, more power, for about the same price. Of course I see cars as a guy, and want more power and more speed, with more leg and headroom. Anyhow, more blog posts Rachel! Keep up the good work!

  2. Rich, I currently drive an '07 A3 Sportsline and absolutely love it. The turbo engine has great pickup and the car handles beautifully. Not to mention, I just picked up a kitchen island from Ikea last weekend and it fit in the car no problem. I also like the A3 styling over the A4 - the hatch makes it much more versatile and sporty in my opinion. But I agree, I'm going to wait at least a year for the tech tweaks.

And if I could afford the R8 or the S5 for that matter, I'd be in it right now :)
